Once again, world-class women’s golfers are setting their sights on southern Utah, as the Epson Tour makes its way to Copper Rock Golf Course for the second annual Copper Rock Championship.
In September of 2020, a global pandemic shut down the inaugural event. In April of 2021, the tournament fulfilled its vision of hosting the championship golf of the Epson Tour at the Copper Rock Golf Course in Hurricane, Utah. American Bailey Tardy hoisted the trophy after shooting a blistering 206 (-10), and eclipsing the field by a margin of three strokes.
This year, on April 21-23, in the shadows of the iconic Navajo Sandstone canyons of Zion National Park, Copper Rock will once again welcome 120 women’s golfers from 30 different countries to its championship golf course. The winner will take home $30,000 of the tournament’s $200,000 purse, but, most importantly, some of the world’s best up-and-coming female golfers will come even closer to fulfilling the lifelong dream of earning their LPGA Tour card.
This three-day, 54-hole challenge is among the Epson Tour’s most pivotal tournaments.
About Copper Rock
Southern Utah is, objectively, one of the most awe-inspiring places in the world. The behemoth National Parks house natural wonders that have stood for millenia and astound millions of visitors per year. Copper Rock Golf Course stands beneath these wonders and offers luxury living and championship golf.
Gordon Zitting and his team masterfully designed this 6,901 yard, Par-72 course to be nestled within the natural flora and fauna of the region. The plush, green rolling hills mimic the natural contours familiar to Southern Utah. All of this is outlined by the familiar landmarks of the Pine Valley Mountains, Zion NP, and the Hurricane Cliffs that continue to inspire both residents and guests.
All along the course are the luxury homes of Copper Rock. Current and future developments are available for rentals or, for those looking to make Copper Rock home, permanent residence.

About the Epson Tour:
Since 1981, women’s golf has included a tour that helped nurture and launch up-and-coming talent. Born as the Future’s Tour, the organization became the “official development tour” of the LPGA in 1999, and was officially acquired by LPGA in 2007. The tour is open to professional women’s golfers and the top amateur golfers across the globe. In early 2022, Epson became the official title sponsor of the tour with a mission to help “produce a pipeline of extraordinary women golfers who are pursuing their dream of playing on the LPGA Tour.”
Graduates from the Futures Tour include World Golf Hall of Fame members Lorena Ochoa and Karrie Webb, as well as many winners of LPGA Majors like Laura Davies, Cristie Kerr, and Grace Park.
